Frequently Asked
Questions
About Brenda Lee’s Web Classes…
Q1. Can Brenda Lee’s show be seen on TV?
A1. No, it can only be seen on the internet as a webcast. This has certain advantages. There are fitness programs on TV but they have drawbacks. First, they all break up their shows with advertising spots several times in each half hour…a real turnoff for your residents. Second, their schedule can be at a time that’s not convenient for your seniors. And last, but most important, their exercises tend to be aimed at a younger audience. Brenda, with her 20+ years of working with seniors, knows exactly what exercises are best tailored to seniors.
Q2. How can you offer three classes a week (13 in an average month) for only $79/month? That works out to only $6.08 per class.
A2. The secret lies in the internet. While TV is quite expensive the internet is more flexible and more cost-effective. Webcasts have the advantage that you can view them at your convenience rather than at a particular time set by a TV schedule. It’s a win-win-win situation for you, your residents, and us. Most importantly, it aligns with Brenda Lee’s goal of reaching out and helping more seniors improve their fitness and adding to the overall quality of their lives.
Q3. Our facility is owned by a corporation that has many different facilities across the U.S. Is the $79 fee good for more than one facility?
A3. Sorry. Each facility, whether part of a chain or a single independent facility, pays the same $79 per facility.
Q4. Some of our residents are in wheelchairs. Can they also benefit from Brenda Lee’s classes?
A4. Yes. Most definitely. With 20+ years teaching seniors Brenda Lee has learned what exercises seniors can do and what ones they can’t. Her exercises are gentle in nature and most are done in a seated position. Her students range in age from 55 to 102.
Q5. Do I, or my Activity Director, have to be present while the webcast is running for our residents?
A5. You need only be present to start and stop the program. However, it’s always better to make sure someone is available if a resident needs help. Many Activity Directors like to stay and join the residents in exercising.
Q6. What if we decided to just buy an exercise video and play it for the residents instead of using your webcast?
A6. You could do that but your residents wouldn’t be as happy. Watching an old video over and over again is boring and can’t come close to matching what Brenda has to offer. Her shows are fresh constantly. Her style is fun, engaging, and motivational. She includes positive affirmations that inspire residents and leaving them feeling alive and upbeat. As one resident said, “Brenda is truly a breath of fresh air. We all look forward to her class”.
Q7. Does Brenda Lee ever visit retirement facilities in person?
A7. Yes. She loves the interaction with the staff and the residents. As more and more facilities sign up for her webcasts Brenda will post a schedule of facilities she will visit.
Q8. How do I connect a computer to our large-screen TV? I’m not very tech savvy?
A8. Don’t worry. You don’t have to be a geek to do it. Perhaps you already have the cable you need. If not, just let us know when you sign up and we will ship you one at no cost. It’s simply a matter of plugging one end into the TV and the other end into the computer.
Q9. What if we try Brenda Lee’s webcast and we aren’t happy?
A9. Not a problem. Every facility that signs up gets two full weeks…six classes FREE.
If you’re not 100% satisfied after your six free classes you can simply cancel and it won’t cost you a thing. It’s all explained in the SPECIAL OFFER page.
